Meet The Founder

I’m Savannah Busnelli, a former public school teacher and founder of Thriving Teacher Life. With over a decade in the education field I understand the unique pressures and challenges that come with the profession—the constant balancing act between work and personal life, the urge to take on more, and the toll that burnout can take on your health and well-being.

As a professional wellness coach, my mission is to help you prioritize your self-care and set healthy boundaries, so you can continue to make a positive impact in your students’ lives without sacrificing your own. I know from experience how difficult it can be to feel like you’re always giving but never replenishing, which is why I’m here to guide you through actionable strategies that will restore balance, increase your energy, and help you thrive both personally and professionally.

Through my background in education and counseling, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the struggles teachers face. I’ve worked alongside educators who felt overwhelmed, burned out, and disconnected from their passion for teaching. I know that with the right support and tools, it’s possible to create a fulfilling, sustainable teaching career without losing yourself in the process.

Together, we’ll work on setting boundaries, embracing self-care, and creating a personalized plan that helps you take care of yourself while continuing to be an impactful, positive force in the lives of your students.

If you’re ready to take back your energy, stop feeling overwhelmed, and reclaim your love for teaching, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Although it's just me behind the scenes, I like to say 'we' because every step of this journey is a collaboration with you!

My Personal Life

When I’m not coaching, I love spending time with my family, especially my two sons. I enjoy playing sports with my youngest and dancing with my oldest. I also spend time with my mother and siblings, and we all share a love for playing board games together.

I have a deep passion for creativity, whether it’s through crafting or painting. I also enjoy reading and doing puzzles as ways to relax and engage my mind. I'm always open to exploring new hobbies as well.

I love to dance and enjoy everything from jazz and hip hop to burlesque and aerial. I practice flow arts, take fitness classes, yoga, and Pilates to stay active and grounded, and I love performing in the community, sharing my passion for movement and self-expression.

In the summer, you’ll find me outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and camping. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, always seeking fresh adventures. These experiences enrich my life and help me stay connected to the things that matter most.
